PARKER Oxford Bedding by Hawke & thorn

Embrace the effortless sophistication of PARKER Oxford Bedding...

Originally made in the 19th century by Scottish fabric mills, Oxford cloth is steeped with heritage. Oxford fabric was one of four men’s shirt fabrics named after universities. The Yale, Cambridge and Harvard Fabric were never as successful as the Oxford. Oxford is unique using a basket-weave pattern and two colors of yarn, the fabric has a recognisable marled look. This same marled look and 2 tone texture is carried across the entire PARKER collection.

The open, basket weave technique of the cloth of the Oxford shirt makes it a year-round staple. It is a breathable 100% cotton fabric, makes Oxford wearable in warmer weather, yet versatile enough to be warm in the cold season.

Originally made popular by British polo players who valued it’s crisp formal look, and comfortable breathability. The shirt, with its prestige intact of course, made its way to America in the 1920’s where it became popular among Ivy League students.

Since then, it has become iconic of fashion, sophistication and style. The timeless design has changed very little and is as popular today as it has ever been. It’s the kind of wardrobe staple everyone requires.

It can be dressed up or down in any interior and every style. Whether your home is Modern, Scandinavian, Traditional, or even Casual, you can always dress your bed in PARKER Oxford.
